We believes passionately in the power of creative inspiration, and by showcasing the most exciting and captivating work online and through our events programs, we want to open up this world to the widest possible audience.

Our magazine aims to bring together designers and digital creatives from diverse backgrounds. We publish and curate a selection of the most interesting aspects of contemporary culture, new trends and movements happening worldwide in the fields of digital design, art, society and technology. Our mission is to spread knowledge and ideas, whilst inspiring creative and curious minds outside the days of the Design Matters conferences.

Being a team of designers ourselves, we work daily with creatives from around the world, seeking out the most innovative projects as well as emerging, undiscovered talent in Scandinavia and the rest of the world. Design Matters Magazine is an independent magazine that considers in-depth research and fact-checking its priorities. The content our magazine offers isn’t limited to a discussion around specific themes and topics; it includes interviews on relevant and emerging topics with high-level designers and creatives, in order to provide a more personal, yet knowledgeable, perspective.

One of the foundations on which the magazine was created is to support and nourish the ongoing conversation with our community. This is why we welcome our partners and every member of our community to contribute with their knowledge and ideas.

Design Matters Magazine has over 11,500 newsletter subscribers, and over 30,000 visitors a year (20,000 unique visitors), and counts more than 240 articles by October 2025.
